Yes, I LOVE dim sum. We actually tried to go to Kirin Court a few months ago, but it was way way packed, so we did something else.

We saw that they had Dim Sum by Asian World (that’s where we and my parents do a lot of our Asian grocery shopping). We were very sad to see that Boba Latte closed there, but I digress. We will definitely have to try J. Chen now that you’ve said it’s so tasty. I will not be trying the jellyfish!!

Ogre is on a diet though, he said we can’t try it until he is having a diet “off” day. Ugh.

On another note – if you like Dim Sum, there’s a new place in Plano (well, about a year old) called J. Chen in the Asia World Market shopping center on Legacy. On Saturday and Sundays from 11-3, they have dim sum served Hong Kong style with the carts that come around to your table and you pick what you want. My hubby loved it ’cause of all of the weird stuff he could get (the jellyfish stayed WAY across the table from me!) and I loved it for the Sesame Balls and egg custard cups along with a few new things that I had wanted to try. It’s the best dim sum I’ve had since we moved back from California in ‘03…and I’ve been searching!
