I ended up ordering from Palayok...AND on the morning of my husband's birthday (at 8am while we were at Original Pancake House), the owner called me to say that their oven broke down and they can't do the Lechon. My husband's expression was SOOO PRICELESS. I immediately called New Manila and thankfully they got Lechon that day and ordered. I had to go to AsiaWorld to get the rest of my order from Palayok and then to Mesquite for the priceless Lechon....which turned out to be REALLY GOOD!...EVEN AS LECHON PASIW. HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY, MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND! Anyway, one of my friends said they have a new filipino place in Mesquite called Elijah...not sure if good though - just fyi. No problem. I have tried it before and the lumpia shanghai and pansit were good...good enough. Portions are small though - especially for their prices but not bad. I would say - stay with mama's cooking. We have eaten at Dream Cafe and we love it (I think it's the epitome of the perfect kid-friendly restaruant), we are trying to save it for a special occasion or brunch with friends, but don't worry we'll be visiting at some point!!
