Liz -We didn’t try the salad bar! We should eat more healthy…I am always drawn to anything that is not good for me!!

Kellie- I’m almost embarrassed to say that I have a “thing” with the Rainforest Cafe. They have one in Nashville (where we lived before we moved here) and I never liked the smell that seemed to permeate from the restaurant, so we never went in. I don’t know if that’s the case here (we actually nixed the mall in favor of going over to the Gaylord). Once I get over my irrational reasoning for avoiding something, the kids will be able to have a fun childhood!! It does look like a fun concept!

FYI…there is a Rainforest Cafe in Grapevine Mills Mall. It’s near the Neiman Marcus Last Call store. Our family dined there on Sunday. It’s definitely kid friendly, but not the best food in the world. Our 4-yr-old loved the atmosphere! Bon Appetit!

I love Ritzy’s salad area – kind of like a salad bar, but you tell them what you want and how to put it together – then they toss it for maximum dressing coverage.

I hate that they closed the one in Frisco. Grapevine’s such a trek!
