sounds like one of our brunches there! glad to know we’re not alone. we left them a card saying that we’d be reviewing them, i hope they read it and clean up their act. ogre joked that we might be in and out of the one on 121 faster if they really have good service despite it being further away!

We used to go to the one on 75 too, until recently when the service was so inexcusably bad that we decided to never go back. Last time, we’d been waiting almost 30 minutes for our food, and when I finally caught the waiter’s eye, he came over and asked, “Is everything ok?” Um, NO! We’re sitting here with no food in front of us and a screaming child, does everything look ok? Grr. I’m curious to try the one on 121 since someone else said their service is better.

ogre says that we’d probably be in and out of the one on 121 faster than the one on 75 (we typically go to this one) because service is so marginal at the one we go to!

If you went to the one on 75, then I completely agree with the service there. The new one out on 121 has much better service, in our experience!

we added that restaurant in our list of places to hit -we like going to fort worth for the “culture” (japanese gardens, museums, zoo) so we’ll be headed there soon, i’m sure!

thanks for clarifying, it’s a little embarrasing to admit that all i know is that stonebriar mall is in frisco and i’ve seen the other location on my way to the mall!

This sounds just like Ol’ South Pancake House on University Dr in Ft Worth. The waitstaff has a certain crusty charm (?) about them. Plus, they are about three blocks from the Fort Worth Zoo!

Technically, 121 is the dividing line between Frisco and Plano, so it’s definitely in Plano.
