for mina, it was well worth it. first, we went on the cheapest night (they have tiered rates), i think it was $239 per night for the Kid Kabin. there are non-themed rooms that were, I think, $199.

At the age of 2, I don't think she'll care much about the Kid Kabin, nor will you want her sleeping on the top bunk (i'm assuming!). there's a dividing wall and that would have made me nervous to not see Mina in the room with the ladder and bunk bed when she was 2, but i am paranoid like that!

i do think benji would have loved the waterpark, but he was sick and i didn't want to expose anyone else to his germs. but we know he loves the water from previous experiences. it would have been worth it now (he's 20 months), but it will be MORE worth it next year and the next if that makes sense.

the rest of it really is geared to the older kid. i'd say they really start getting into all the Lodge has to offer at age 4. The MagiQuest thing is pretty cool, there's an arcade, a Cub Club activity center and a kids only spa.

i'm not saying she wouldn't enjoy it at this age and there were a lot of 2 and even younger kids there, but she'd probably enjoy more when she was older. you could always go now and go again in a year or two, if it's something you'd enjoy because it's definitely family friendly!

I've been meaning to check the Lodge out. I have a 2 yr old daughter who may or may not like water park activities, that part of her personality is still developing. Would you recommend it or should we wait until she's a bit older. From what I've seen online, a room averages about $250/night. Is it worth it in your opinion.
